Our Lamb

All the lamb is prepared fresh on site making food miles negligible.

The unique environment where the sheep graze gives the meat its distinctive and very special flavour that is so sought after, by connoisseurs of fine meat, top chefs, and restaurateurs alike.

All Gower Salt Marsh Lamb are fully traceable and are born on the farms where they live and spend most of their lives grazing the salt marsh. It is truly a Welsh Lamb to be proud of!

This marsh contains a natural abundance of Samphire, Sorrel, Sea Lavender, and Thrift, not only a tremendous source of nourishment but delicious on its own. Samphire is available when in season from the Castle Farm shop.  

Now available - Winter Warmer packs of Gower Salt Marsh Lamb.

For those who want a taste of lamb for the winter or a Special Christmas present, we now provide a variety pack ideally suited to feed your desire for comfort food. This pack will contain ½ Shoulder, ½ Leg, Steaks, lamb mince, and a boned and rolled breast.

We have in stock a wide range of Gower Salt Marsh Lamb cuts. We can advise on Lamb purchases and can give hints and tips on how
to get the best Salt Marsh flavour when cooking.
